The problem with your analysis is you throw these big numbers around without asking yourself what is the "true cost" of doing these duties?

Throwing a bunch of numbers out of context does not an argument make...

You have to justify why those numbers are too much or too little...

I know what the true costs are. It is exactly what they are already have been budgeted for. All I have listed currently aren't new projects. These are all currently funded projects that already have a budget. The bill is just granting them more money when it is not needed.

If I would have paid more attention to politics in the past I would have complained just the same. I just can't accept hidden money being handed out, when the country can't afford it.

I feel that any extra spending at this time is too much. There should be some new cuts not new spending. Do you think MS would still fund a failing project or cut the losses that have occurred and cancel the project?

MS will fund a project if they think it has real potential to win, even if it currently operates at a loss.

They try to run the company on economic realities - not ideology.
Similar to the ideas in the budget.

The "cut services and taxes" approach is short-sighted and ideological, but it wont lift the country out of the crisis NOR does it have the potential of the stimulus program either in the long-term.
