Something Fishy to report.
Here is a great response in a letter from Senator John Cornyn to the President about "Fishing" reporting tactics:

http://briefingroom.thehill.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cornynletter.pdf

A Question from the Letter:

Do your own past statements qualify as "disinformation"? For example, is it
"disinformation" to note that in 2003 you said: "I happen to be a proponent of a single-payer
universal health care plan"?

Can you Rat for us?
From the White House:

Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web.....that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

Does this statement just sound wrong?

Here is a great Quote.
As Hillary Clinton famously yelled, “I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration, somehow you’re not patriotic, and we should stand up and say, ‘WE ARE AMERICANS AND WE HAVE A RIGHT TO DEBATE AND DISAGREE WITH ANY ADMINISTRATION!’”

Free speech. It might be the very best thing about America, even when it irks.

Not all think this now.

Do something....
Well California Courts upheld the Prop. 8 law. Okay now what? So far in the community all I have seen, and heard, is nothing but whining, moaning and bitching about other people. Well get over it and do something about it.

Harassing others or crying in your wine spritzer is not going to change anything, except others point of view of you. Here are a few things that can be done now:

1. Get a new law passed. (Seems to have worked for other states)
2. Get the government out of the Marriage contracting business or change the term marriage in the law books. (Heard domestic partnership is a good term)
3. Move to a different state. (Free country and all.)
4. (there is no option 4)
5. Convince the Pope. (Long shot, but less likely to happen)

Current Mood: blah

How long
Well, been a while since I have been posting to the journal. Guess I have been wondering what I can say that wouldn't offend anyone. Think I may have come up with something.....

Well, maybe I will procrastinate a little more on it.

A lessoned learned today..
So lets start off by saying, "Why procrastinate today, when you can do that tomorrow." So will finish the procrastination topic another time. For now, this.

I learned a lesson today, if you want to get your mortgage payments lowered it is easy. Don't pay it. Let your house come close to being foreclosed and the American Government will come and help you.

So in new spending plan, which is close to $100 billion dollars, you can have your mortgaged lower to no more than 31% of you current monthly income. Unfortunately this will only cover majority of the people that have mortgages under the Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.

According to Obama he says "The plan I'm announcing focuses on rescuing families who have played by the rules and acted responsibly," Obama said. "It will not rescue the unscrupulous or irresponsible by throwing good taxpayer money after bad loans."

For some reason I don't see this going the what he is says. I feel that people who have 45% or even 60% of their monthly income will not benefit from this. Also there will be more spending added to the new bill.

This is going to far...

PETA dresses in KKK garb outside Westminster Dog Show

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals knows how to grab attention. And show off its laundry.

The animal rights group, which every year stages a protest at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, had two of its members dress in Ku Klux Klan garb outside Madison Square Garden on Monday.

Their goal, according to a post on the PETA website, was to draw a parallel between the KKK and the American Kennel Club. "Obviously it's an uncomfortable comparison," PETA spokesman Michael McGraw told the Associated Press.

But the AKC is trying to create a "master race" when it comes to pure-bred dogs, he added. "It's a very apt comparison."

The group passed out brochures implying the Klan and AKC have the goal of "pure bloodlines" in common.

Can you believe?
Been procrastinating on the topic procrastination to long so I will say this....

Saw this cover of the current MS. cover:

Funny he doesn't look like any feminist I ever heard of. Do people truly feel he can solve all problems of the world? Like most issues you cannot force or believe that all problems will be solved by one man.

I'll support the president democrat or republican. I will support Obama as long as hid judgments made are appropriate and not fullish. We will have to see how things turnout after his first year.

I am curious on one other thing. A few years ago there was an argument to the cost of the inaugural party for the President. I wonder if the same argument would be made this year.

Really?
I can understand asking for others to Volunteer to help in your community. Though when I read this part of the Paragraph I just had to laugh a little.

"Barack and I will be volunteering in Washington, D.C., our new home. I hope you'll join us by taking part in this national call to service in your community."

If they were really volunteering for the country then they would refuse to get paid for the position as president and pay for all of the expenses out of their own pocket. Heck if Arnold could do it a governor why not them?

I am all or supporting the country, but not by sounding pretentious. Also they are still using the funds from his election to pay for this.

"Paid for by Obama for America"

Understanding
When protesting goes wrong:

White powder sent to Mormon temples in Utah, LA

- Letters containing a suspicious white powder were sent Thursday to Mormon temples in Los Angeles and Salt Lake City that were the sites of protests against the church's support of California's gay marriage ban.

Had a long saying, but lets just shorten it. Terrorizing and violent acts do not help a cause. Just make people want to hate you more.

What would you do?
Well, what would you do I sang out of tune?

I know play Rock Band. There are several songs that can be sang in tune. Then there are several songs you just can't help go, "I am to sing what? I have to grab what, to hit those notes."

Required Service
http://change.gov/americaserves/

"When you choose to serve -- whether it's your nation, your community or simply your neighborhood -- you are connected to that fundamental American ideal that we want life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness not just for ourselves, but for all Americans. That's why it's called the American dream."

The Obama Administration will call on Americans to serve in order to meet the nation’s challenges. President-Elect Obama will expand national service programs like AmeriCorps and Peace Corps and will create a new Classroom Corps to help teachers in under served schools, as well as a new Health Corps, Clean Energy Corps, and Veterans Corps. Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by developing a plan to require 50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year. Obama will encourage retiring Americans to serve by improving programs available for individuals over age 55, while at the same time promoting youth programs such as Youth Build and Head Start.

---------------------------------------

I don't think requiring people to serve the community is the right start to the administration. Asking for people to Volunteer or "Choose to Serve" is a much better start. Making it a requirement will not sit well with most people.

For some reason this song is running through my head and I can't seem to get rid of if.

----------------------------------

A man walks down the street
He says why am I soft in the middle now
Why am I soft in the middle
The rest of my life is so hard
I need a photo-opportunity
I want a shot at redemption
Don't want to end up a cartoon
In a cartoon graveyard
Bonedigger Bonedigger
Dogs in the moonlight
Far away my well-lit door
Mr. Beerbelly Beerbelly
Get these mutts away from me
You know I don't find this stuff amusing anymore
If you'll be my bodyguard
I can be your long lost pal
I can call you Betty
And Betty when you call me
You can call me Al

Blind following...
Meant to post about procrastination, that is until I saw this:

Blind following.

If Obama does win. I would like to see the reaction on the creditor's faces when they come collecting. I can only imagine her reaction to be, "Go talk to The president. He is paying my bills now." Same reaction for gas fill ups, "Put it on the President's tab."

Then again I do have a wild imagination. It never seems to come back around to talk about procrastination.

No need....
Well no longer have to vote. According to this paper the election is already over. Obama has won.

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/10/27/obama-wins-newspaper-declares/

“Obama Wins!” is the headline of the edition on newsstands now, complete with “special collector’s edition” in red bold typeface.

Oh wait haven't I seen this title before? Somewhere in history?

Guess I will have to go back to the Procrastinating topic early. Can't wait for Nov. 5th.

Silence the interviews.
So I have been wanting to talk more on procrastination and well things get in the way. So lets talk more......

Funny how when you start questioning people on the hard questions. What do you get? Blacklisted and called Fox news supporters. Joe Biden gets 2 hard interviews and immediately the Obama/Biden campaign blacklists the media outlets.

And another:

And his response to them. Saying the reporter tried to call Obama Karl Marx. When actually she just quoted a statement from manifesto and asked a question on Obama's statement of spreading the wealth around.

WFTV blacklisted by Obama campaign after Biden interview with Barbara West

http://www.examiner.com/x-1087-Denver-News-Examiner~y2008m10d26-WFTV-blacklisted-by-Obama-campaign-after-Biden-interview-with-Barbara-West

So in the end you cannot ask the Obama campaign the hard questions they do not want to answer. What does this mean if Obama is president? Media blackouts on those who question the presidency?

Okay back to the topic of procrastination, maybe later.
